About

My name is Adam Reineke. I’m 22 and attend Iowa State University as a full-time student pursuing my Bachelor’s in Software Engineering. I already have a degree from DMACC in Business Information Systems (AAS, 2008, 3.36 GPA) and it feels like I’ve been in school way too long.

I love solving programming puzzles and do fairly well at them. TopCoder and Facebook’s Hacker Cup have been really fun, and I intend to try Google Code Jam this year. I enjoy working with web technologies and keep a list of all the websites I’d love to build if my schedule ever lightens up.  That’s unlikely though, since I hold four extracurricular leadership positions, teach a learning community study session, and on the weekends I’m building an Android app for the ISU Game Development Contest.

If sun is shining, I’ll likely be out playing a casual game of disc golf or buzzing around town on my motorcycle. However, I’m a typical college guy: if I’m stuck indoors with nothing to do, you’ll find me playing Starcraft II or Minecraft or laid back on the couch watching something from Netflix.
